Structural spacer for glazing, made of semi-soft foam tape, without a removable liner, with an adhesive layer on one side. The support is made of polyurethane foam of the V2200 series. Replaces silicone or rubber joints. Can be applied anywhere on the frame profile. Adhesive layer on one side for easy positioning of the glass.
Open cell structure for optimal hardening of the structural silicones. Compatible with most common building silicone sealants.

Adhesive layer
CS-Thermalbond Xpress is coated on one side with our standard Thermalbond-acrylate adhesive, which guarantees a very firm adhesion on most substrates. The adhesive layer unrolls onto the specially treated top of the foam band, which ensures that no separate removable protection is needed which has to be removed and recycled afterwards. The top of the foam band with little friction removes the trapped air bubbles and simplifies the alignment of the glazing.
The adhesive layer will not deteriorate or alter under normal temperature and ageing conditions.
